Our Metrics Dashboard

UPals Partners believes any program worth the consideration by parents, educational institutions (school districts and universities), and the supporting public needs to be accountable for its impact. Therefore all UPals programs must have their corresponding Metrics Dashboard to track the progress of the students and the program. Components to our Metrics Dashboard can include the following:

• Number of colleges implementing UPals
• The average tenure of the UPals programs offered by colleges
• Number of students collectively served within a specific school year
• Cumulative number of students served from lower income families
• The ethnic composition of all students in the UPals program
• The gender breakdown of students in the UPals program (male/female)
• The percentage of students in UPals that are free or reduced price lunch eligible
• The race breakdown of students in the UPals programs
• The change in attendance rates of students enrolled in a UPals program
• The change in Grade Point Average of those students enrolled in a UPals program
• The number of students participating in UPals that enroll in college at the end of their senior year in high school
• The percentage of students in the UPals programs who are English Language Learner’s
• Student return rate — the attrition of those students participating in UPals from one year to another
• The number of school districts impacted by all UPals program
• The zip codes of those families impacted by the students attending the UPals program
• Number of hours dedicated to the summer program (Number of hours the students must attend the UPals program in the summer)
• Number of hours of UPals program required to attend (non-summer attendance, school year attendance by parents and students)
• Number of hours dedicated to college preparation work/Number of hours offered for non-college preparation work
• Percentage of UPals programs that include business leaders as instructors
• Percentage of hours spent in internships
• Scaled evaluation of feedback from middle school administrators
• Scaled evaluation of feedback from parents whose students are attending UPals

We hope we can create a metrics dashboard for each UPals program launched. UPals Partners is willing to assist in the compilation and analysis of the collected data
